We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated junior team member to join our team as an Ad Policy & Operations Associate. This role sits within the Baidu Global Business Unit, focusing on media policy for our Digital Signal Processing (DSP) platform, MediaGo. The successful candidate will play a supportive role in shaping, applying, and upholding our advertising policies, working closely with various teams, stakeholders, and advertisers to promote a clear and fair advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Policy Development & Support:
- Assist in the creation, review, and updating of advertising policies to align with our goals and legal standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and issues to help anticipate changes needed in our policies.
2. Policy Communication:
- Help internal teams understand and apply advertising policy updates and guidelines.
- Provide training and materials to both our staff and advertisers to ensure clarity and compliance with our policies.
3. Policy Monitoring:
- Assist in checking advertising content to ensure it meets our policies.
- Work alongside the review team to manage any policy breaches and offer solutions.
- Support advertisers with any questions or concerns regarding advertising policies.
4. Engagement with Stakeholders:
- Connect with both internal and external parties to receive input on our advertising policies.
- Represent our policy viewpoints at industry events and through online forums and webinars.
5. Data Reporting & Analysis:
- Help monitor and report on important metrics regarding policy violations and adherence.
Suggest improvements to policies based on data analysis.
6. Continuous Enhancement:
- Work with various teams to refine the policy review and application processes.
- Suggest technological advancements to enhance policy monitoring and compliance.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, or related field. Previous exposure to the advertising field is an advantage.
- 0-2 years of experience in a role related to advertising, policy development, or similar.
- A good understanding of the advertising sector, including trends and regulations.
- Strong communication skills in both English & Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Available to work in our Sunnyvale office 4 days a week.

Salary Range: $30 - $40 per hour
