DataCamp and GEMS Education partner to bring hands-on AI and data skills to 60,000+ students and teachers.

DataCamp and GEMS Education partner to bring hands-on AI and data skills to 60,000+ students and teachers. GEMS Education, one of the oldest and largest K-12 private education providers in the world, and DataCamp, the leading platform for AI and data upskilling offering the world's #1 AI tutor, announced a new partnership today that will give 60,000 students and 10,000 teachers across the GEMS network access to the full catalog of DataCamp's interactive and hands-on courses. Students and teachers will access learning resources at no cost via DataCamp Classrooms, making it one of the largest single commitments under the initiative and the first-of-its-kind for it in the UAE. ReadTravel Guides The partnership brings hands-on learning in areas including AI, data literacy, Python, SQL and other industry-relevant technologies into the school environment, with the first cohorts starting this academic year. GEMS plans to widen access across its network and work AI learning into the subjects students already take, so that using these tools becomes part of an ordinary school day rather than a separate program. The UAE has become one of the fastest-growing AI talent markets in the world, ahead of the US, UK, Germany, and France - making it an epicenter of the changes impacting the global labor market. The programme will also provide GEMS educators with access to the platform, enabling teachers to develop their own AI and data capability and explore how these skills can be incorporated into classroom learning. Both teachers and students can work towards industry certifications, including credentials from Microsoft, AWS, and GitHub. For students heading into engineering, computer science, or analytics, that means starting higher education or their careers already familiar with the tools in highest demand today, and with clear evidence of their skills. "AI fluency is becoming an essential part of being ready for the world students are entering, but fluency means more than knowing how to use the latest tool. It means understanding how AI and data work, knowing how to question what they produce, and being able to apply them responsibly to real problems," said Dino Varkey, Group CEO, GEMS Education. "Our partnership with DataCamp gives our students and teachers the opportunity to learn by doing. It further enables us to make practical data and AI skills part of a future-ready education." Discover more REAL ESTATE Travel Lifestyle Guide "The UAE now ranks first in the world for growth in AI talent concentration, and AI became a mandatory subject in government schools here this academic year. The region has decided where it is going," said Sam Davoodi, GTM Lead, Middle East & Africa at DataCamp. "We see the same pattern in the enterprises we work with across the region - banks, government entities, and logistics groups are all going back to the fundamentals, because the teams that get real value from AI are the ones who understand how data and models actually work. GEMS is applying that logic years earlier in a learner's life. A student who has written Python, queried a dataset, and earned a Microsoft or AWS credential before leaving school starts their career already ahead - and across 60,000 students within the group, that sets a benchmark for the region." ReadTravel Guides The partnership forms part of GEMS Education's broader approach to AI, which includes developing teacher capability, student AI literacy, AI-enabled learning and research, and collaboration with leading technology organisations. GEMS has established the Global Education AI Hub and through its schools like GEMS School of Research and Innovation, provides environments for research, experimentation and the development of new approaches to AI and technology in education. The future of finance is automated: how to earn NASBA CPE credits in AI and analytics.

The future of finance is automated: how to earn NASBA CPE credits in AI and analytics. By Dr. Clare Walsh. Published on: 20 Aug 2026 There is a noticeable shift happening in corporate finance, accounting, and audit. The days of relying solely on traditional spreadsheets are giving way to data pipelines, predictive analytics, and enterprise AI. For Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and finance leaders, this evolution presents a dual challenge: you need to rapidly build advanced technical skills, but you also need to meet your rigorous annual Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements. Historically, finding high-quality, hands-on technical training that also satisfied compliance boards was incredibly difficult. Today, Institute of Analytics is changing that. The IoA is thrilled to announce that through its enterprise learning partnership with DataCamp, its members now have clear, accessible pathways to earn NASBA CPE credits while mastering the most in-demand AI and data skills in the world. Why AI and data analytics matter for cpas. Accounting and finance professionals sit on the world's most valuable asset, data. The professionals who thrive in the coming decade won't just report on historic numbers; they will build the models that predict future outcomes. Whether it is automating manual reporting workflows with simple CoPilot solutions, building dynamic corporate dashboards in Power BI, or navigating the governance risks of Large Language Models (LLMs), technical literacy is the ultimate career advantage. Through this initiative, you don't have to choose between keeping your license compliant and keeping your skills competitive. You can do both at the same time. How it works: your two pathways to CPE compliance. Institute of Analytics has structured its learning platform to support your compliance requirements through two distinct pathways, depending on the depth of the topic you are studying. 1. The direct route: pre-approved registry courses. DataCamp is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as an official sponsor of continuing professional education for over 100 courses. When you log into the IoA Dashboard, you will see a list of CPE Eligible courses, from no-code, low code, up to Snowflake integrations for your data pipeline. It's your step-by-step way into the changes in the data and digital world. * The Process: Complete the course, pass the final automated assessment with a score of 70% or higher, and the platform will instantly generate a formal CPE certificate featuring DataCamp's official NASBA Sponsor ID. And it's all included in the price of your membership, no extra fees, no paperwork*. 2. The manual route: manual self-submission for advanced AI. Technology moves significantly faster than formal regulatory registries. Because of this, its most advanced tracks, covering topics like generative AI strategy, machine learning engineering, and deep data science, may not yet carry a pre-approved registry badge. However, you don't have to miss out on credits for these courses. Most state accountancy boards allow a portion of your annual hours to be fulfilled via non-registry self-submission, provided the curriculum directly enhances your professional competence. * The Process: If you take an advanced AI course, the IoA will produce a custom certificate with a description of the course, hours needed and the content covered for Manual Submission. This will help you seamlessly submit these CPD hours manually to your local state board portal. How to get started today. If you are an active member with the IoA, these pathways are already live and fully included in your existing access. Don't spend another year sitting through generic compliance lectures just to check a box. Use your required CPE hours to build the technical expertise that will define the next phase of your career. *Please always check that the course is also accepted with your local governing authority as CPE requirements are set at a regional level. Get involved. Lead the future. Join the IoA community and lead the future of data, analytics and AI.
