About the Job

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in a product role with proven success through measurable impact and increasing responsibilities, including experience owning pricing, incentives, payouts, or supply-side economics in a two-sided marketplace.
  • Ability to build analytical models, defend them with data science, and explain them to executive audiences.
  • Deep understanding of unit and business economics, and ability to balance business, clinical, and technical considerations in product decisions.
  • Ability to distinguish which decisions to test and which decisions are difficult to reverse, including under time pressure.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and two-sided marketplace business models.
  • Sound judgment in ambiguous situations, including assessing evidence, deciding whether to act or investigate further, and explaining the rationale.
  • Track record of driving cross-functional decisions to a conclusion without authority over stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication, particularly the ability to make quantitative arguments actionable for executives.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Own the incentive system that moves therapist availability toward areas where clients need it, ensuring the system is targeted, measurable, and reversible.
  • Own the structure and clarity of the compensation model, including what therapists can predict about earnings and what the model rewards.
  • Define what constitutes adequate network supply and build tools and features to close supply gaps.
  • Develop a compelling and sustainable earnings proposition for therapists, using controlled rollouts and rigorous measurement to assess effects on availability before committing to changes, within the constraints of a licensed, independent clinical workforce.
  • Incentivize behaviors that create client access, including therapist availability, match acceptance, and continuity of care.
  • Analyze and quantify the impact of every change, draw conclusions, and plan next steps based on data.
  • Partner with matching, eligibility, member experience, therapist experience, and provider acquisition teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, clinical, legal, marketing, data science, and operations stakeholders to design, approve, launch, and measure changes.
  • Participate in setting organizational strategy and long-term direction within and beyond product.
  • Own key performance indicators.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with supply-side economics in a labor-supply marketplace such as ride-hailing, delivery, or professional services.
  • Experience compensating an independent-contractor workforce and familiarity with related constraints.
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or another business where eligibility and payer rules shape provider-client matching.
  • Fluency with experimentation and causal inference when clean randomization is unavailable.
