Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Two years of professional experience in loan processing, financial services, or general administrative operations is required.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce, is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including frequent professional phone and email correspondence, are required.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution are required.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Organize, track, and maintain comprehensive loan files from application through closing while supporting loan officers throughout the process.
  • Collect, review, and upload necessary documentation into internal systems, ensuring compliance and file completeness.
  • Perform data entry and status updates, and conduct loan file audits within customer relationship management and loan origination system platforms.
  • Prepare detailed summaries and reports to facilitate borrower updates and internal team coordination.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure smooth progression of the loan lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage team email communications, follow-up tasks, and operational checklists.
  • Stay current on company policies, underwriting guidelines, and required loan documentation standards.
  • Assist with documenting standard operating procedures for repeatable loan support functions.
  • Support and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Support additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Desired Qualifications
  • Five years of professional experience in administrative operations, financial services, or loan processing.
  • Experience in mortgage lending and/or real estate.
  • An Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
