Director – Fp&a @ Peloton

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a proactive, hard-working and motivated Director to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and oversee all aspects of our Subscription segment. The ideal candidate is driven and resourceful, highly collaborative, detail oriented, and is a strong teammate (no job is too small or too large).

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Lead team responsible for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning related to Peloton’s Global Subscription segment inclusive of subscribers and subscriber KPIs, subscription revenue, and subscription COGS
Work with cross functional business partners across Marketing and Product teams to define and lead the strategy and future state structure of our App business
Serve as key partner to the Global Content and Music teams, providing clear and effective decision support, thought leadership, information flow and overall financial guidance
Partner with the Global Music team in evaluating financial implications from active deal negotiations and offer strategic considerations
Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand the potential impact of decisions and resulting risks and opportunities in the context of Peloton’s business objectives and strategic initiatives
Enhance monthly & quarterly internal and external reporting, including driving informative analyses to explain trends and identify risks & opportunities across the business
Support month-end close process in close partnership with the Accounting team through detailed reporting, variance analysis and insights
Manage four existing direct reports with responsibilities across Connected Fitness and App subscription/subscribers, Subscription COGS, and Music
Serve as a culture carrier for the organization as well as a leader for the global FP&A team

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

10+ years in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking
Experience with music licensing strongly preferred
Proven experience in SaaS-based technology companies and understanding of subscription business metrics such as lifetime value, customer acquisition costs, subscription cohorts, and retention curves is strongly preferred
Excellent communication / collaboration skills required; role involves building positive relationships across the organization
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suites (Slides & Sheets)
Experience managing and leading a team
Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$218,600—$284,200 USD
