- Ability to manipulate the MICROS point-of-sale system and accurately input orders and post transactions.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and work well in a team environment.
- Excellent customer relations, sales, and communication skills are required.
- Must possess a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit throughout employment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to perform essential job functions; regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Open the door for guests and greet them warmly and cordially.
- Keep lines from forming at the door.
- Answer incoming reservation calls and telephone requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and dining room.
- Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.
- Keep abreast of all food and beverage venues and menus.
- Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework.
- Facilitate guest requests.
- Notify the Manager of guest complaints.
- Use the table management system to manage incoming reservations and the venue floor.
- Conduct restroom checks.
- Know the menu as well as the servers.
- Assist with daily administrative work as directed by the Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
