  • Experience planning complex, high-tech, cloud infrastructure, server, rack, or network hardware supply chains, including work with external manufacturing partners.
  • Ability to balance demand, supply, capacity, lead time, inventory, and deployment priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise planning systems.
  • Ability to make data-based recommendations clear to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, or an equivalent level of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • Own the integrated planning model connecting customer rack forecasts, Oracle-provided component requirements, manufacturing and logistics commitments, data-center deployment priorities, and service readiness.
  • Convert customer rack-level forecasts into time-phased demand for Oracle-provided assemblies and components, including bill-of-material usage, lead-time offsets, allocation logic, and inventory positioning.
  • Load and manage independent demand in Fusion Demand Management and Supply Planning.
  • Establish a regular operating rhythm with Demand Planning, Materials Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Execution, Commodity, Logistics, and customer or integrator counterparts.
  • Reconcile plan versus actual, assess clean-to-build readiness, and drive recovery actions.
  • Validate that customer-provided racks meet Oracle deployment requirements for configuration, test data, TDMS data availability, advance shipment notification timing, identifiers, and in-country delivery milestones.
  • Plan and monitor the supply, drop-ship execution, and delivery status of Oracle-provided components to the customer-designated integrator.
  • Identify gaps in supplier commitments, capacity, material availability, or order timing before they affect deployment.
  • Define planning requirements for tracking non-Oracle-owned racks and service components through receipt, deployment, repair, and return flows.
  • Maintain part- and serial-number traceability, chain of custody, dummy sales-order and purchase-order milestones, inventory reporting, and exception handling.
  • Partner on field-replaceable-unit and seedstock planning, including customer minimum/maximum assumptions, early-deployment surge coverage, failure-rate feedback, replenishment triggers, product changes, and end-of-life or disposition readiness.
  • Deliver executive-ready views of supply health, deployment coverage, constraints, decisions, owners, and mitigation progress.
  • Escalate issues with clear recommendations and quantified tradeoffs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning, Demand Management, Supply Planning, or comparable tools.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Experience with RMA interfaces and reverse logistics.
  • A relevant master's degree.

Oracle's Fusion Agentic Applications aim to move enterprise AI from pilots to production

Oracle is pitching a shift in enterprise software: applications that take responsibility for business outcomes, rather than AI assistants that help with single tasks. Its Fusion Agentic Applications use enterprise data, processes, and policies to coordinate work, take authorized actions, and adapt as conditions change. Fusion Claw extends this to longer-running work that needs research, analysis, and execution. Business experts can describe an outcome in natural language using Oracle AI Agent Studio, while developers extend and test it with tools such as Visual Studio Code, Codex, and Claude Code. Oracle says governance is built in. Organizations set an Enterprise Operating Envelope of policies, risk thresholds, and approval rules. The application acts within its delegated authority, seeks approval where required, and escalates when a decision falls outside its remit.

Oracle shares tumble 8.83% to $130.55 as hot CPI data lifts yields and debt nears $167B

Oracle shares fell 8.83% to $130.55 on Wednesday after hotter-than-expected September Consumer Price Index data lifted Treasury yields and revived bets on rate rises. Trading volume hit 50.4 million shares, about 61% above the three-month average. The stock was already under pressure from worries over financing its AI cloud expansion. Debt is heading toward $167 billion, and its credit rating was cut to BBB-, one notch above speculative grade. Higher rates could make that debt load harder to carry. Still, Oracle reported 30% year-over-year revenue growth to $19.3 billion in its latest quarter, driven by cloud infrastructure. The S&P 500 fell 1.08% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.88%. Oracle reports next on December 14, 2026.

Over 25% of S&P 500 stocks are down 40%+: four bargain tech picks, from Netflix to Oracle

More than 25% of S&P 500 stocks are down 40% or more from their highs, even with the index near record levels, as of October 8, 2026. The Motley Fool sees that as a chance to hunt for bargains in tech. It names four picks. Netflix trades at about 18.5 times 2027 analyst earnings estimates, and advertising should drive its growth. Oracle has a $664 billion backlog in cloud infrastructure, but carries heavy debt and burns cash. ServiceNow, hit by the 2026 software sell-off, trades at 7.5 times forward sales as it pushes into agentic AI. AppLovin trades at 13 times 2027 earnings estimates. Its revenue rose 53% last quarter to $1.9 billion.

Oracle urges FERC to fast-track gas pipeline for $1.1B Project Jupiter data centre

Oracle has urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to speed up approval of the 17.8-mile Green Chile pipeline in New Mexico. It says delays threaten its Project Jupiter data center campus. The pipeline would carry about 400 million cubic feet of natural gas a day to power the site's microgrid, which uses Bloom Energy fuel cells. Its start date has slipped to February 2027 from August, after local opposition forced developer Transwestern Pipeline Co. to move the route onto federal land. Environmental groups and New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez want FERC to review the data center and pipeline together. Oracle has considered trucking in gas for early commissioning work. In a letter to FERC on Tuesday, Oracle said the four-building campus would support nearly 5,800 peak construction jobs and generate up to $1.1 billion in annual economic output for Doña Ana County.

Oracle vs Intuit: why Oracle's 30% cloud growth beats Intuit's cheaper valuation

A Motley Fool analysis picks Oracle over Intuit as the better tech stock to buy in 2026, though it flags risks at both companies. Intuit posted fiscal 2026 revenue of $21 billion, up about 14%, with net income near $4.6 billion and free cash flow of $8.6 billion. It trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 13.1x, against 17.4x for Oracle. The author warns it could be a value trap as cheaper tax tools threaten its individual customer base. Oracle reported revenue of about $67 billion, up 17%, and net income of $17 billion. Free cash flow was negative at nearly $5.4 billion. Its debt-to-equity ratio fell from 3.6x in May to 2.3x in August. The author favours Oracle for its cloud backlog and 30% revenue growth last quarter.
