Requirements
  • Two to three years of work experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and caliper.
  • Math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and LINCS.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and concisely in English.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and follow them.
  • Ability to complete work with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work safely and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work successfully without close supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, climbing stairs, and pulling.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and push or pull carts and/or a pallet jack.
  • Hand dexterity and strength.
  • Availability for required overtime, including occasional weekends, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret product drawings.
  • Evaluate product compliance with Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly, and finishing requirements, and educate associates on those requirements.
  • Complete quality audits of products and processes, including Data Pak and color control.
  • Prepare quality and scrap reports.
  • Maintain gage control.
  • Measure and test products against KCMA and company specifications, including stain testing, chemical testing, and edge soak testing.
  • Perform problem solving.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Apply basic knowledge of the Quality Management System to promote awareness and use among associates.
  • Perform tasks required for the success of the department that extend beyond the department.
