AerSale announce Boeing 757 freighter lease to Jupiter Jet. AerSale's second quarter results missed Wall Street expectations, with revenue of $70.93 million falling short of the $81.24 million estimate. The company posted a loss of $0.12 per share versus an expected profit of $0.04. Management attributed the underperformance to the timing of flight equipment sales, with no transactions completed during the quarter, and ramp-up costs at new maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities. CEO Nicolas Finazzo said several delayed deals are expected to close in coming months. The Goodyear facility is operating at less than 20% capacity but anticipates substantial increases as aircraft storage converts to maintenance demand. CFO Martin Garmendia explained that leasing and complete flight equipment sales typically achieve higher margins than parting out for used serviceable material.
