Full-timeVienna, Austria

About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a mobile developer.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally with B2B software-as-a-service and observability products for mobile platforms, backed by a background in mobile software engineering such as Apple, Android, React Native, or Flutter.
  • Experience talking directly to customers and running continuous product discovery, using evidence rather than opinion to shape decisions.
  • Strong business and product judgment, with an affinity for data and metrics and the ability to turn signals into clear hypotheses and actions.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, with a track record of driving outcomes through influence rather than authority and building alignment with engineering teams and business stakeholders through evidence and a clear narrative.
  • Fluency with artificial intelligence in daily workflow, using it to work faster and more effectively across product management craft and knowing where it does not help.
  • Must live in the Vienna area or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a system that continuously gathers insights from users, customers, GitHub, product data, competitors, ecosystem trends, and industry shifts; turn them into well-framed problems, opportunities, and tradeoffs that inform the Mobile roadmap and guide prioritization.
  • Draw out insights from Sales, Support, and Solutions teams about missing features, especially those that may cause customer churn.
  • Talk regularly with developers and engineering leaders, represent their perspectives in internal decisions, test ideas quickly and cheaply before committing engineering resources, and use findings to align on priorities for this persona.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager and Mobile engineers to influence and improve the end-to-end mobile developer experience, from identifying and surfacing an issue in Sentry through automatic resolution across native iOS and Android and cross-platform React Native, Flutter, and KMP developers.
  • Partner with the engineering team and internal stakeholders across the company, build trust by delivering on commitments, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply judgment about where artificial intelligence adds leverage in discovery, synthesis, and analysis, and build it into repeatable systems rather than one-off prompts.
  • Commit to measurable objectives tied to customer and business value, track usage and revenue metrics, and turn findings into hypotheses and action.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B software-as-a-service and observability products for mobile platforms.

About the Company

Sentry

Builds debugging tools for software developers

Sentry builds application monitoring software for developers who need to find errors and slow code in web, mobile, and backend applications. Its error tracking groups related failures into issues so teams can focus on the problems affecting their users. The platform connects error reports with traces, logs, session recordings, and source code, giving engineers the context to investigate failures and identify changes that caused them. Teams connect their applications through software libraries and integrations, and Sentry sells cloud subscriptions with usage charges for data beyond included allowances. Sentry was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in San Francisco.
