Lazard stock drops 21% over 9 consecutive days, wiping out $938M in market value

Lazard stock has fallen 21% over nine consecutive trading days, erasing approximately $938 million in market value. The investment bank now stands at a market capitalisation of about $3.6 billion, with shares trading at $35.75 as of 18 September 2026. The decline appears company-specific rather than market-driven.
