About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, E&E, Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • A master's degree is preferred, specifically an MBA or a relevant technical field.
  • Relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Own critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes that enable rapid device miniaturization and mass production of integrated circuits.
  • Conduct tests and measurements of equipment operations to control critical dimensions and process-line defectivity.
  • Recommend and implement equipment operating modifications to improve production efficiencies and manufacturing techniques and optimize output for existing products, meeting safety, quality, and cost indicator goals.
  • Grow inset manufacturing capacity to high volumes to demonstrate technology capability while transferring the technology to counterparts at manufacturing sites across the globe.
  • Own execution of equipment and relevant module-component maintenance and repair activities.
  • Initiate and own continuous improvement of equipment and processes for key performance indicators, including safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield, and work with equipment suppliers as required.
  • Own process-development line items aligned to high-volume process nodes.
  • Participate in technology transfers to other sites through training and audits of installation and qualification outcomes to ensure matched processing across sites.
  • Own development and optimization of excursion-prevention systems for equipment and processes.
  • Own detection of discrepant material or equipment and process activities.
  • During factory ramps, own equipment installation or conversion and qualification to ensure tools are installed safely and on schedule while meeting quality and matching criteria, including design, Safety Level 1 and Safety Level Supplier milestones, Intel qualification, and manufacturing-readiness processes.

About the Company

Intel

Pioneers microprocessors, CPUs for PCs

Intel designs and manufactures semiconductor chips, with a focus on microprocessors for personal computers, servers, and other devices. Its core product is the CPU on a single silicon chip, which executes instructions, handles arithmetic and logic operations, and coordinates the work of other computer components. Intel originated in memory chips but shifted decisively to microprocessors in the 1980s, becoming a central supplier for the PC era after the IBM partnership and its famous x86 processor line. This shift, large-scale manufacturing, and close ties with computer makers set Intel apart from competitors who remained focused on memory or other components. The company aims to power computing by delivering high-performance, energy-efficient silicon solutions that drive a wide range of computing devices and applications.
