Requirements
  • A degree or similar related life science qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a full-service/global project management role within the contract research organization industry.
  • Extensive experience in a clinical operations position within a contract research organization and at least 4 years of full-service project management experience in a clinical trial setting.
  • Experience managing studies within oncology.
  • Working understanding of Good Clinical Practice and International Council for Harmonisation guidelines and the clinical development process.
  • Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel, including overnight stays.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with clinical trial management systems, electronic trial master files, electronic data capture, and interactive voice or web response systems.
  • Proven ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals and teams internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated core understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial activities as they relate to executing a clinical development plan.
Responsibilities
  • Independently lead clinical projects in accordance with the study budget and scope of work, including contracted and financial objectives and potentially international trials.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact liaison with the client and provide customer service, including participation in proposal activities and client presentations.
  • Liaise with project teams and senior management of Precision and sponsors, including C-level stakeholders.
  • Handle and lead all aspects of clinical research trials.
  • Provide total project management across functional areas including data management, safety, clinical operations, medical monitoring, and biostatistics.
  • Prepare project status updates for clients and management, identify key deliverables and performance metrics, and escalate issues.
  • Serve as an active member of the project team to contribute to efficient management and execution of trials.
  • Prepare and review protocols and other study documentation, including project plans, informed consents, site contracts, and budgets.
