Major Crunchyroll Isekai releases surprise English dub for entire series after 2 years.

Major Crunchyroll Isekai releases surprise English dub for entire series after 2 years. October 14, 2026, 11:30am Crunchyroll has surprisingly released the full English dub series release for one of their major Isekai anime titles after two years, and fans can catch up with it streaming now. The Fall 2026 anime schedule is now underway, and that includes some big Isekai titles that have returned for new seasons. But while some of these releases had English dub releases confirmed for their respective titles, there were a few shows left without one. That's no longer the case for As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. The anime adaptation for Miraijin A's As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World original light novels is currently airing its third season this Fall, but the franchise had been going all this time without an official English dub release. As a big surprise, however, Crunchyroll has now launched not only the English dub for the first episode of the new season, but for every episode of the first two seasons thus far. Now it's the perfect time to catch up with it. As a Reincarnated Aristocrat releases full English dub with Crunchyroll. As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World is now streaming the English dub for the anime's first two seasons, and the first episode of the third season now airing its episodes as part of the Fall 2026 anime schedule with new episodes then likely releasing on a weekly basis from now on. Directed by Manuel Aragon, the English dub for the series stars a core cast of Reshel Mae as Ars Louvent, Eli Farmer as Rietz Muses, Kara Edwards as Charlotte Reis, Hayden Daviau as Licia Pleide, Kayla Temshiv as Musia Trick and more. It's the perfect time to catch up with everything that's happened in the anime thus far since As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 3 is currently now airing its newest episodes. It features a returning production staff from the first two seasons with Takao Kato returning to direct for new studio GeyeG Pictures, Daisuke Ohigashi handling the scripts, Yuko Yahiro providing the character designs, and Kujira Yumemi composing the music. Why you should catch up with As a Reincarnated Aristocrat. As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World likely isn't the first Isekai anime franchise you think of when seeking out new releases this Fall, but it certainly has been one of the most compelling. If you're a fan of the kinds of Isekai where the main character is building out an entire society (and thus needs to navigate politically in order to expand), then this is the perfect show for you. It's not the traditional power fantasy you see elsewhere by any means. In fact, its main characters is arguably one of the weaker characters in terms of strength. Rather than Ars having a powerful ability that makes him the strongest person in this fantasy world, he instead is born with the ability to see the potential of all of those around him. Wanting to make his territory strong, he goes and recruits those with that hidden potential to make the most of them in new roles. The show sees each of these characters live up to that potential, and thus makes it all the more intriguing when they succeed. Are you going to check out this new English dub on Crunchyroll? Let Comicbook know all of your thoughts about it in the comments!

Netflix cuts nearly 1,000 jobs as Crunchyroll and former employees offer hiring support.

Netflix cuts nearly 1,000 jobs as Crunchyroll and former employees offer hiring support. Netflix is cutting nearly 1,000 jobs, affecting about 6% of its workforce. The October 14 announcement has been followed by a public show of support on LinkedIn from former colleagues and an invitation to apply for jobs at rival streaming company Crunchyroll. By Rahul Kumar Netflix is cutting nearly 1,000 jobs, affecting about 6% of its workforce. The October 14 announcement has been followed by a public show of support on LinkedIn from former colleagues and an invitation to apply for jobs at rival streaming company Crunchyroll. The cuts, Netflix's biggest since 2022, primarily affect product, technology, legal and human resources teams. The company's co-CEOs, Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters, told employees that Netflix needed to be more disciplined in how it prioritizes its people and resources, even as its business remains profitable. Crunchyroll invites Netflix employees to apply. Andre de Abreu, a Crunchyroll executive, directly addressed people affected by the Netflix layoffs in a LinkedIn post. He said Crunchyroll was hiring, with nearly 100 open positions at the time of the post, including opportunities in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He invited those considering their next move to explore the company's jobs. The post is an unusually direct example of a streaming competitor reaching out publicly to people leaving Netflix. It does not establish that Crunchyroll has hired any of those employees, and its cited job count reflects the time of the post rather than a live vacancy total. Former Netflix employees offer help beyond job referrals. Adam Mulder, an enterprise AI product and programs leader who said he had worked at Netflix for 12 years, wrote that he was among those affected. He offered to talk with former colleagues about their next steps, help them prepare for interviews and support them however he could. He also shared that he was beginning his own job search. Christophe Labrune, who works in game production at Netflix Games, said colleagues had been affected and urged organizations that were hiring to consider them. He offered to connect people and help where possible, pointing to their experience navigating complicated work, ambitious deadlines and demanding projects. Omari Sealey, a Netflix alumnus, also reached out. Drawing on his own experience of being laid off, he offered support and invited affected data engineers, analytics engineers and data scientists to contact him about possible opportunities. The posts show distinct forms of help: interview preparation, personal introductions and outreach to people with particular technical skills. No verified total is available for interviews or hires arising from these efforts. Why is Netflix cutting jobs? The explanation Netflix gave employees focused on setting priorities, rather than a collapse in its core business. Reuters reported that the company had approximately 16,000 employees at the end of 2025 and that the latest cuts represent its largest reduction since 2022. Netflix is still contending with growing competition for viewing time. Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and other subscription services compete directly for subscribers, while YouTube and TikTok draw considerable attention with free video. Investors are watching whether Netflix can sustain engagement and develop significant revenue beyond its subscription business. Netflix has invested in advertising-supported subscriptions, gaming and live programming. These efforts may influence where it allocates resources, but there is no public breakdown establishing that any individual new initiative directly caused a particular redundancy. The Associated Press reported that Netflix recorded around $12.56 billion in revenue and $3.4 billion in profit for the second quarter of 2026. That context makes the layoffs a question of spending priorities and future growth, not evidence that Netflix is operating at a loss. What the response means for tech hiring. Experienced Netflix staff work across consumer product design, engineering, games, operations and corporate functions. Some of those skills are directly relevant to streaming services, entertainment technology firms and broader digital-product businesses. Crunchyroll's invitation is a confirmed example of a company attempting to reach affected workers. LinkedIn messages from Mulder, Labrune and Sealey show how individual professional networks are trying to make that transition easier. Other companies may recruit former Netflix staff, but that possibility should not be confused with an announced coordinated hiring initiative. The longer-term employment impact will depend on how many of those contacts lead to interviews and jobs. For now, the public posts have given employees a visible route to reconnect with peers and potential employers while they consider their next move. Dark Crunchyroll fantasy confirms Season 2 return after 4 years - watch trailer.

Dark Crunchyroll fantasy confirms Season 2 return after 4 years - watch trailer. October 13, 2026, 2:16pm A dark fantasy series you can now find streaming with Crunchyroll has confirmed it's finally coming back for a second season after four long years, and a new trailer is helping to show it off for the first real time. The New York Comic Con 2026 weekend was a big one for Crunchyroll as the streaming service revealed some of the big plans they now have in the works for the future. Because while the streaming service has plenty to watch this Fall, there's even more on the way for 2027. One such series is Berserk of Gluttony, which wrapped up its debut season back in 2023. The anime adaptation for Ichika Isshiki and fame's Berserk of Gluttony light novel series quietly came to an end without news of a second season, but thankfully one has finally been confirmed three years later. And now with Crunchyroll releasing a new trailer for Berserk of Gluttony Season 2, the anime has confirmed a 2027 return for the new episodes. You can check out the trailer below. Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 confirms 2027 Crunchyroll release. Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 will be making its debut sometime next year, and Crunchyroll has confirmed they will be exclusively streaming the new episodes alongside their premiere in Japan. This will mark four years since the release of the first season, but it will feature a returning production staff and studio for the new episodes as it was confirmed that Tetsuya Yanagisawa and Kenichi Ishikura will be directing the new season for ACGT. Mariko Kunisawa also returns to provide the scripts, and Takafumi Furusawa will be providing the character designs once more. While there are still more updates needed when it comes to the production staff, Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 has confirmed it will feature a returning voice cast from the first season including Ryota Osaka as Fate Graphite, Tomokazu Seki as Greed, Hisako Tojo as Roxy Heart, Misato Matsuoka as Myne, Hitomi Sekine as Eris, and Takehito Koyasu as Aaron all set thus far. But any potential new characters joining the cast as teased by this trailer have yet to be revealed as of this time. ComicBook, LLC'll see more of that as the anime gets closer to its return. Why you should watch Berserk of Gluttony. Berserk of Gluttony is a pretty fun anime series. It's a darker fantasy where every person is born with a special skill, and main character Fate has one that initially seems like a terrible one. But when pairing up with a dark weapon named Greed, Fate's hunger begins to grow to a point where he needs to kill as many monsters as he possibly can in order to satiate it. He's always on the verge of losing control of his power, and that makes for a fun balance to keep an eye on as the anime continues. If you wanted to catch up with everything that's happened in Berserk of Gluttony so far, you can find the anime's debut season now streaming with Crunchyroll in the meantime. There's an English dub release for the anime as well, but it's still far to early to find out whether or not the second season will get a dub. But how are you liking the way Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 is shaping up so far? Let ComicBook, LLC know all of your thoughts about it in the comments!

One of the hardest hitting webtoons confirms Crunchyroll anime debut - watch first look trailer.

One of the hardest hitting webtoons confirms Crunchyroll anime debut - watch first look trailer. October 13, 2026, 9:00am Crunchyroll's plan to adapt more Korean webcomics, known as manhwa or webtoons, is also set to bring The Boxer by Jung Ji-Hoon (JH) to anime. The first look at the adaptation has been released, highlighting the hard-hitting action that the webtoon is known for. The announcement came during the recent New York Comic Con event, where the streaming platform revealed plans to adapt around 15 webtoons into anime in the future. Among them was The Boxer, with its announcement including a trailer, cast, and staff details. The anime will be brought to life through a partnership between Japanese studio Breccia and Korean studio STUDIO JEMI. The anime will be co-directed by Takehiro Kubota and KANG Wonyeong, while Toshiya Ono will handle series composition and scripts, and Masahiro Suwa will design the characters. The revealed cast includes Koki Uchiyama as the protagonist Yu, Kensho Ono as Ryu, Tomokazu Seki as K, and Toshiyuki Toyonaga as J. These voice actors are known for their roles in popular anime, including Kaiju No. 8 and Jujutsu Kaisen. Crunchyroll has yet to reveal the anime's release date, but its first look and hard-hitting narrative are already positioning it as one of the most intense anime to come, which could also revolutionize the pattern of webtoon anime adaptations. Crunchyroll's new boxing anime will expand the industry's horizons. What makes the anime adaptation of The Boxer a significant step is how it could help manhwa adaptations move beyond the Solo Leveling-style anime. Ever since Solo Leveling received its anime adaptation, numerous Korean webcomics have followed suit, but many have relied on similar elements. This year alone has seen two such anime, Tomb Raider King and Overgeared. However, recent announcements of more webtoon adaptations suggest that the industry is expanding beyond this reputation, and The Boxer is solid proof of that. The upcoming anime's premise is what makes it so ambitious. It follows Yu, a 17-year-old high school student who embarks on a boxing journey while searching for meaning and emotion in life. The story sees K, a legendary boxing trainer searching for the next great fighter, discover Yu after witnessing him being bullied without reacting. However, K recognizes Yu's hidden potential as a fighter, thanks to his superhuman reflexes, and decides that he could become the next boxing champion. Yu agrees to train under him, but only asks whether hurting others will be fun for him. This sets the stage for a story in which the protagonist not only showcases his talent and rises through the ranks of the sport but also searches for something new and worthwhile to live for, discovering the passion that drives him. The trailer also highlights this element, alongside crisp animation that positions the series as one of the most visually striking modern anime about fighting. With a premise that bears some similarities to Hajime no Ippo, The Boxer could become its next major counterpart in the anime industry. Crunchyroll has yet to announce a release date for this hard-hitting adaptation of one of the most action-packed webtoons, but given its promising direction and visuals, fans may see it arrive by late 2027 or early 2028.
