- Prepare and maintain quality-related documents, including procedures, inspection records, and standard operating procedures.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Prepare, analyze, and present quality reports at defect reduction team meetings according to the cadence set by the customer.
- Participate in and support quality improvement processes as part of the defect reduction team or quality improvement team.
- Provide guidance, direction, and review to quality inspectors and out-of-box auditors.
- Prioritize and lead corrective actions for customer-raised EQIRs and QNARs involving failed materials and other quality issues reported from the field or in process.
- Perform first article inspections on new product introduction, first customer shipment, and engineering change notification products.
- Develop associated standard operating procedures for applicable quality stations.
- Review and disposition non-conforming material and develop solutions to reduce scrap.
- Review planning readiness for new product introduction, engineering change orders, and deviation implementation.
- Coordinate and support purge and rework activities, and provide timely customer feedback through email or the customer portal.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
- Knowledge of SAP, Six Sigma, and ISO.
- Three years of related quality experience.
