- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn proprietary databases.

- Ability to perform mainly straightforward assignments using prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems, with a moderate level of guidance and direction.

- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Collaborate with Procurement Managers on procurement projects, including RFXs, contract management reviews, and other supply chain management initiatives.
- Conduct client interviews, financial analysis, and proposal modeling; create communication summaries using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Develop and recommend strategic plans for Manager review, then implement approved plans.
- Assist in developing and recommending sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients, and assist with implementation.
- Identify cost-improvement opportunities for assessment and achieve operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Support execution of the end-to-end competitive bid process for strategic plans.
- Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Develop, implement, amend, and monitor supplier contractual agreements.
- Maintain current category knowledge and knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trends; provide category and strategic sourcing subject-matter expertise.
- Review and approve vendor setup requests and vendor information changes; perform anti-bribery and corruption due diligence.
- Review requests and process purchase orders; prepare, send, and file purchase orders daily in accordance with quality standards; maintain existing purchase orders daily.
- Use standard templates for strategic sourcing activities, including RFx templates, contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and work instructions.
- Support procurement team members as required.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Facilities management or property management experience is an asset.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
- Partial completion of the Supply Chain Management Professional Designation from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada, or equivalent, is an asset.

July 17, 2026 | John McNulty Veritas Capital has agreed to acquire BGIS from CCMP Capital Advisors and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). BGIS runs and maintains buildings and facilities - offices, data centers, and government, healthcare, and industrial sites - for large public and private organizations, handling the engineering, operations, and technology that keep those properties running, a service known in the industry as technical integrated facilities management (IFM). The company oversees more than 65,000 facilities totaling over 620 million square feet globally with a team of more than 12,000. Gord Hicks continues as chief executive officer and will lead the business with his management team. CCMP and AIMCo had backed BGIS since 2019. Veritas Capital, a technology investor focused on companies operating at the intersection of technology and government, manages over $54 billion in assets.
