The Role:
As a Senior Integrity Analyst, you will use your understanding of how betting markets for a variety of sports operate, to work within Genius Sports’ Integrity team in London and worldwide. Using the company’s proprietary data and software solutions, you will be part of a team responsible for identifying anomalous betting patterns and compiling professional reports for our clients – who are major sports leagues and federations.
The successful applicant would ideally have experience of working within the betting industry or an ability to demonstrate their knowledge of betting markets as they relate to a variety of sports. They must also possess a good overall knowledge of tennis, with an eye on other sports such as Football and Basketball.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Responsibilities:
With a focus on (although not limited to) tennis, the successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to:
- Investigate odds movements and other betting patterns using our proprietary data, monitoring systems and other external sources.
- Build up and maintain a high level of knowledge on tennis events/competitors worldwide.
- Aid with the production of professional level reports explaining the betting markets clearly and concisely for non-betting experts.
- Liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally in order to help protect sports (specifically tennis) from integrity-threats.
- Work with our development team to continually review and improve the internal software and reporting solutions.
- Continually assess and review the relevant betting markets.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Excellent English written communication skills
- Existing experience working in a report writing role is preferred
- High attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of sports, preferably tennis.
- A detailed understanding of the betting industry and how bookmakers trade their markets.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly prioritise work in a proactive manner and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred but not essential
