Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in Engineering.
  • 3-15 yrs. of experience
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes as defined in work area.
  • Strong understanding of business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in the following would be considered an asset: Field execution of large, industrial capital projects, Wastewater treatment plant design, Liquid Pumping Systems, Hydraulic Analysis using modeling software (PipeFlo or equivalent), Chemical Addition Systems, Sludge Handling and Disposal.
Responsibilities
  • Develop P&IDs for the project.
  • Layout the site based on the site plan and processes. This includes system equipment, unit processes, and piping.
  • Size pipelines, pumps, blowers, other equipment, etc., based on site hydraulics.
  • Create equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.
  • Assist in development of a 3D model of the facility with our CAD team.
  • Conduct in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.
  • Support the construction/project manager with the technical oversight of contractors.
  • Configures solution based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Commits to deliverables with customers and/or mgmt.
  • Drive value creation in the business.
  • Team lead & mentors engineers.
