Requirements
  • Significant demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design for consumer facing products.
  • High level interaction and visual design skills, with exceptional understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color theory and prototyping.
  • A craft obsessed designer who strives for quality and has an amazing attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead design for important projects with experience delegating work and giving direction to other designers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions and the logic behind them).
  • The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just 'how it should look' but 'what we should build').
  • Experience in building and shipping applications or software (mobile/web).
  • Must have a portfolio featuring examples of design work.
Responsibilities
  • Design high quality interactive experiences across mobile, both iOS and Android.
  • Lead projects throughout the entire design process; from creative conception to production and release.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to help define the roadmap and execute to achieve business objectives.
  • Give feedback/direction to other designers to continually push the level of quality on the team.
  • Take part in defining a design system to be used across multiple products and platforms.
  • Evaluate current processes, identify best practices, develop plans to reach goals and implement improvements.
