Responsibilities
Provide Oracle Apps DBA support.
Provide contractor support for file porting to custom directories located on AFSVC BAN.
Promote AFSVC-built code.
Contribute to discussions and proof-of-concept work on solutions for the strategic platform, including security, performance tuning, integration, and support tools.
Define and implement data visualization best practices.
Promote and load EBS system change requests into environments as required by the Change Management Approval process.
Identify issues, gather technical requirements, and provide recommended alternative solutions for issue resolution.
Perform APPS DBA functions in the environments to complete requirements associated with critical functions.
Rectify issues found in Security Technical Implementation Guides and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution scans.
Perform Oracle data masking and subsetting, including conditional, compound, and/or deterministic/consistent masking.
Monitor and record database activity for database and non-database users.
Create and manage a standby database for disaster protection, protection against data corruption, and supplemental reporting.
Work issues and escalate Oracle service requests through My Oracle Support.
Work interactively with functional and technical resources to support service requests.
Perform Oracle OAS administration, including configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution support.
Use certification templates to complete, capture, and update certification artifacts supporting Authority to Operate and Plan of Actions & Milestones actions in coordination with government personnel.
Conduct periodic update meetings and program reviews at least monthly, or as needed.
