- Monitor an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Become familiar with client billing guidelines for assigned portfolios.
- Apply appropriate procedures to troubleshoot non-payment, including skip tracing, dunning letters, collection calls, and emails.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure receivables are properly addressed and uncollected accounts are escalated appropriately.
- Interface with field teams, sales management, and Customer Service to resolve customer billing disputes and provide collection assistance.
- Attend monthly meetings with Area Vice Presidents and Directors of Operations regarding aging performance and problem accounts.
- Review policies and procedures and suggest improvements where appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships within and across departments and with internal and external customers.
- Assist in creating productivity standards.
- Research and resolve customer problems and complaints involving billing, cash application, and account issues.
- Support the Area Vice President and the locations within the assigned area.
- Help improve cash collections and days sales outstanding metrics.
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable Invoicing and Cash Applications teams to provide a strong customer experience.
- Assist with managing Accounts Receivable collections and operations for approximately 40,000 customers.
- Strong working knowledge of current collections methodologies.

Vital Records Control (VRC), a provider of information governance services, has acquired AI platform company AskTuring. The acquisition expands VRC's artificial intelligence capabilities within its technology stack. AskTuring provides AI technology that helps organisations securely access, understand, and use information within their data repositories. VRC plans to integrate AskTuring's technology into its service offerings, including VitalControl®, enabling customers to gain greater insight into information stored physically or digitally. "The acquisition of AskTuring gives us additional AI capabilities that complement our existing technology and creates new opportunities," said Danny Palo, CEO of VRC. The integration will allow customers to better manage and interact with their information, whether stored at VRC facilities, managed internally, or maintained by third parties. VRC will also explore additional AI-driven capabilities across its digital solutions.
Vital Records Control has launched VITAD, a nationwide IT asset disposition service across its 100+ US locations. The service helps businesses securely dispose of retired computers, servers, mobile devices and other electronic equipment whilst protecting sensitive data and supporting environmental recycling practices. VITAD offers two service options: recurring scheduled collections or self-service via collection boxes with prepaid return shipping.
