Requirements
A stable job history, a commercial Washington and/or Oregon journeyman card, industry experience, and alignment with the company’s values.
Licensure in both Washington and Oregon is a plus and is associated with a higher wage.
The position is safety sensitive.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and other technical documents to assess building needs and pipe and plumbing fixture plans.
Work with contractors to assess client needs and plan plumbing layouts.
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures.
Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, and welds to pipes and tubes.
Measure and modify pipes by cutting, threading, or bending them with specialized tools.
Install equipment such as boilers, water heaters, toilets, and sinks.
Diagnose plumbing problems and resolve issues.
Repair or replace damaged parts.
Locate and repair water line leaks.
Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices.
Confirm pipe systems are air- and watertight by performing pressure tests.
Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects.
Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning.
Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with both Washington and Oregon journeyman licenses is preferred.

The projects are new construction with approximately 50% of our work prevailing wages.
We perform a wide range of interesting and challenging work that includes standard plumbing, hydronic systems and mechanical equipment.
