  • Experience working in a similar role within a catering environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality food in line with recipes, specifications, and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and manage assigned sections independently.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with recipes, specifications, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house colleagues to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Work during busy service periods to ensure food is delivered on time and to the required standard.
  • Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
  • Contribute to coaching commis chefs.
