About the company

OEC Group arranges international freight movements for businesses that import and export goods, with a focus on trade between Asia and North America. What believers are saying

  • Customs staff receive credential support: OEC compensates brokerage employees' training toward a customs broker license.
  • Retirement support is defined: OEC's Santa Ana Ocean Import Coordinator posting includes a 3% company 401(k) match.
  • New hires get structured onboarding in certain regions: OEC's week-long Freight School pairs classroom and on-the-job training.

What critics are saying

  • Miami outside sales requires frequent travel: account executives spend at least two weeks monthly outside their home city.
  • New Hyde Park brokerage managers face a benefits wait: coverage follows successfully passing a 90-day introductory period.
  • Santa Ana operations limits home working: Ocean Import Coordinators receive one work-from-home day weekly.

What makes OEC Group unique

  • Bulk-liquid work includes specialized equipment: OEC's liquid division uses its Shark Tank flexitank inside shipping containers.
  • Inventory planning extends beyond shipment tracking: OEC's purchase-order platform links shipment events to individual orders.
  • Customs advice includes in-house research: OEC studies duties, legislation, and trade agreements to identify exclusions and reclassifications.
