Requirements
  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Two years of experience designing and developing complex software systems using Java, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming
  • Three years of experience using Python to build AI applications
  • 6 months of experience with using TensorFlow to build and train machine learning models
  • 6 months of experience with Natural Language Processing
  • 6 months of experience performing data analysis using Pandas
Responsibilities
  • Write, quality, high performance, and maintainable back-end code while focusing on scalability, security, cross-browser compatibility, web standards, interoperability, and accessibility
  • Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues
  • Improve existing software products and develop distributed software systems powering eBay’s websites
  • Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmaps
  • Develop groundbreaking services, using best practices, to meet user’s needs
  • Evaluate user needs and translate them into viable software designs and products
