  • Ability to service HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles and maintain records of vehicle service, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for wear and report findings to customers and/or the Operations Manager.
  • Ability to document work, complete job paperwork, maintain files, and submit required reports on time.
  • Ability to serve as a direct customer contact and provide technical support to customers.
  • Ability to determine repair parts and order them in a timely manner.
  • Ability to record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment and return unused resources.
  • Ability to keep current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair, and to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness; maintain vehicle service records, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Complete paperwork for each job, documenting daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact and provide technical support to customers.
  • Determine parts needed for repairs and order them according to the required timeline.
  • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair, and read and interpret product specifications.
  • Work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Travel regularly for work, including overnight travel as needed.
