Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting HUD or federal programs such as Community Development Block Grant, Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery, Emergency Solutions Grants, HOME Investment Partnerships, or Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS, whether as a grantee, Housing Authority partner, or consultant advising public-sector clients; alternatively, at least 8 years of experience in client success, implementation, or a consultative role within a Software as a Service or technology company.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders ranging from program staff to agency leadership.
  • Ability to operate as the subject matter expert in client and stakeholder discussions.
  • Strong orientation toward quality, compliance, and accountability, especially in federally funded program environments.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the go-to expert on Neighborly Software's solutions for state and local government client stakeholders throughout the full life of each account.
  • Evaluate clients' current workflows and tailor the platform to meet their unique needs, ensuring seamless adoption and impactful outcomes.
  • Nurture client relationships proactively to drive engagement, retention, and expansion across the account portfolio.
  • Advise clients on current Housing and Urban Development industry standards and best practices, and educate them on software features that improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Bridge clients and internal teams by coordinating with Product and Engineering to translate evolving client and regulatory requirements into platform improvements.
  • Develop performance objectives and milestones that support each account's long-term success.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities early, and offer practical solutions that help clients stay ahead of program deadlines and audit requirements.
