- Knowledge of secure software development, software development lifecycle, and code versioning and maintenance.
- Experience assessing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Knowledge and familiarity with installing, demonstrating, testing, validating, and evaluating new and existing software, tools, methods, and software measurement technologies.
- Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals.
- Knowledge of software automation, application development, and Representational State Transfer architecture.
- Knowledge of data extract, transform, and load workflows for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Experience working with and developing containerization software, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Redshift.
- Experience working with infrastructure as code, including Ansible, Git-CI, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting directly with customers in a project environment or technical demonstration.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across remote and physical locations.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering, or a high school diploma and 4–6+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Design, troubleshoot, and implement software code for end-to-end software development and service integrations.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, integrate, and implement software stacks for on-premises and cloud-based tools and services.
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications and pipeline workflows.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products based on user and mission requirements.
- Initiate evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.
- Automate deployments, testing, and builds using infrastructure as code tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI.
- Implement recommendations for improving documentation and development process standards.
- Ensure quality control of developed and modified prototype software through staged testing and pipelines.
- Establish optimal configurations and tunings for commercial off-the-shelf, government off-the-shelf, and open-source technologies pertaining to mission needs and project baselines.
- Navigate and work within Linux and container-heavy environments, including OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AlmaLinux, and Docker.
- Experience with two or more of Python, JSON, data analytics, MongoDB, MinIO, Ansible, Vue.js, React, HTML, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, OpenShift, AWS, View Jazz Framework, process automation, Terraform, or continuous integration and continuous delivery.
