About the company

Steel.dev provides an open-source browser API for AI agents and web automation, running Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium in the cloud to manage headless browser fleets. It handles scaling, cold starts, resource contention, and reliability so teams can run large-scale web scraping and autonomous agents without maintaining infrastructure. It offers a fully managed cloud service that integrates with existing tooling and uses a usage-based pricing model. The goal is to let clients focus on building products by providing scalable, reliable browser infrastructure for automated browsing and data extraction.
