Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Ph.D. or deep expertise in Computer Vision, Robotics, or related fields
  • Proficient in scientific Python, Unix, and robotic frameworks (e.g. ROS2.0)
  • Experience with common DL frameworks (preferably PyTorch)
  • Experience with distributed learning (especially on AWS)
  • Proficient in practical computer vision for robotic systems
  • Consistent track record of publishing mobile robot perception work at high-impact conferences/journals
  • Passionate about developing and applying human-centric artificial intelligence
  • Reliable team-player
  • Experience with obstacle detection
  • Experience tracking moving obstacles

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ambitious research in perception and localization for robotic systems
  • Implement state of the art perception algorithms in real-time
  • Work with planning and control researchers
  • Stay up to date on computer vision and robotic perception

  • Mentor research interns
