Specifically, the complaint alleges that Defendants failed to disclose that: (1) NET Power was unlikely to complete Project Permian on schedule and the project was likely to be significantly more expensive than represented due to, among other things, supply chain issues and site- and region-specific challenges; (2) projections regarding the time and capital needed to complete Project Permian were unrealistic; (3) the increased time and capital required were likely to have a significant negative impact on the Company's business and financial results; and (4) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading when made. Methode Electronics Q1 revenue expected to drop 7.2% year on year

Methode Electronics will report Q1 earnings on Wednesday after market close. The market expects revenue to decline 7.3% year on year to approximately $217 million, in line with last year's same-quarter performance. The custom-engineered solutions manufacturer beat revenue expectations last quarter with $233.7 million in sales, down 2.6% year on year. However, full-year EBITDA guidance and adjusted operating income missed analysts' estimates significantly. Most analysts have reconfirmed their estimates over the past 30 days. The company has missed Wall Street's revenue estimates multiple times over the last two years. Methode Electronics shares are up 19.8% over the past month, outperforming the electrical equipment segment's 3.7% average gain. The average analyst price target stands at $9.25, compared to the current share price of $13.98.

Methode Electronics maintains $0.05 dividend despite expected quarterly loss and financial pressure

Methode Electronics has affirmed its quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on 31 July 2026, whilst facing expectations for a quarterly loss and softer revenue. The dividend decision comes as the company reported its fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results. The electronics manufacturer is undergoing a strategic shift towards power, data centre and electric vehicle programmes, but faces near-term challenges from rising restructuring costs and continued losses. Management guidance projects fiscal 2026 sales between $950 million and $1 billion. The decision to maintain the dividend despite weaker financial health and ongoing transformation costs has sharpened investor scrutiny. Some analysts forecast revenue of $1.1 billion and earnings of $53.5 million by 2029, though consensus estimates remain more conservative.
