Responsibilities
Support new and existing customers with their data engineering needs.
Guide customers in making technical decisions to achieve their goals.
Work across multiple customer accounts and track and report on their progress.
Design, build, and operationalize complex data solutions; fix issues; apply transformations; and recommend data cleansing and quality solutions.
Analyze data sources to determine their value and recommend their inclusion in analytical processes.
Apply data management competencies including data governance, data security, and data quality.
Collaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and analytic environments.
Perform data and system analysis, assess and resolve moderately complex defects and incidents, and correct them as appropriate.
Test data movement, transformation code, and data components.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with data engineering technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
Experience with data science and machine learning technologies such as pandas, scikit-learn, or hyperparameter optimization.
Experience with data warehousing technologies and concepts such as SQL, OLTP, OLAP, or DSS.
Databricks data engineering or machine learning certification.
