- An ITI qualification in Electrical is required.
- A trade certificate or at least three years of experience in facility management or hotels is required.
- Good reading and oral proficiency in English is required.
- Good communication and customer contact skills are required.

- Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team is required.
- Assist the Engineering Supervisor with maintenance and care of all electrical equipment.
- Maintain work quality to meet prescribed standards.
- Bring matters that may affect the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport to Management's attention.
- Abide by the company's and department's mission statements.
- Coordinate and cooperate with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad Airport to support cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
- Support the team in delivering effective and efficient services.
- Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the property's electrical systems, circuits, current loads, and limits for new loads, and adhere to established standards.
- Perform repair, maintenance, and installation work on the property's electrical systems.
- Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment.
- Test motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment and observation.
- Install fixtures and other electrical equipment.
- Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to fire alarm system requirements.
