  • Strong software-engineering fundamentals, including Git-based workflows, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous delivery for clean, reproducible deployments.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, or Google Kubernetes Engine; containerization with Docker; and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
  • Experience building and deploying artificial-intelligence and large-language-model applications and agents, such as Vertex AI, Agent Builder, LangChain, or LangGraph, together with application programming interface design such as FastAPI and evaluation of artificial-intelligence system reliability.
  • Expertise in SQL and Python, with proven experience designing and implementing batch and streaming ETL/ELT processes and pipelines and integrating with application programming interfaces.
  • Required experience with BigQuery and dbt, and a solid understanding of data-warehouse modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop artificial-intelligence-powered tools that enable Marketing, Product, and other teams to self-serve automation, and apply artificial intelligence to automate data-engineering work itself.
  • Uphold engineering best practices across an artificial-intelligence-assisted codebase through Git-based version control, code review, semantic versioning, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous delivery for clean, reproducible deployments.
  • Own data security and governance across the platform, including least-privilege access, identity and access management, secret management, personally identifiable information handling, BigQuery row- and column-level security, and guardrails against prompt injection and data exfiltration.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Sales, Marketing Operations, Data Analysts, and business-intelligence specialists to understand data and tooling needs, ensure data integrity, and resolve discrepancies through root-cause analysis.
  • Shape the marketing-technology and artificial-intelligence platform stack and align it with strategic priorities to maximize business impact and growth.
  • Assess and mitigate risks to delivery timelines, quality, stability, and performance, ensuring the reliability and robustness of data and artificial-intelligence infrastructure.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in data architecture, artificial-intelligence application engineering, and marketing technology through research, proofs of concept, and reusable frameworks.
  • Provide technical guidance and architectural expertise across initiatives and take on other responsibilities as needed to support evolving business priorities.
