About the job

Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in demand generation, growth, or lifecycle marketing at B2B software companies selling to technical buyers in the United States.
  • Experience running outbound programs based on data and intent signals rather than purchased lists, with demonstrated results in meetings and pipeline.
  • End-to-end ownership of lifecycle email for a self-serve or product-led growth product, including segmentation, triggers, copy, testing, and deliverability.
  • Ability to write clearly for engineering audiences.
  • Comfort with attribution, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost payback, and pipeline by channel.
  • Ability to build systems, automation, and processes that run reliably and scale with volume.
  • Focus on pipeline and revenue measurement rather than marketing-qualified leads.
  • Hands-on experience with modern go-to-market tools such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Clay, or Lemlist, or similar tools, and informed views on useful applications of artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to overlap with US morning hours (India evenings) a few times a week.
Responsibilities
  • Decide which account signals warrant outreach, including ideal customer profile signups, usage spikes, trial activity, large self-hosted installations, hiring for observability or platform roles, and movement away from incumbent tools.
  • Develop outreach plays for each signal, choosing contacts, messaging, channels such as email and LinkedIn, the balance of automation and personal outreach, and when to hand accounts to an account executive.
  • Initially write and run outreach sequences; track reply, meeting, and pipeline rates for each play, and discontinue plays that do not convert.
  • Work with the go-to-market engineer to determine which signals matter and how they should be acted on, while that engineer builds the data and signal queues and makes signals reliable and automated.
  • Own the sales handoff, including qualified-meeting criteria, response service-level agreements, and a weekly lead-quality feedback loop.
  • Own email journeys for new signups from onboarding through activation, trials through paid conversion, paying customers toward expansion and annual plans, and self-hosted open-source users toward SigNoz Cloud or Enterprise.
  • Build campaigns triggered by product usage, including first data sent, usage milestones, trial expiry, usage drops, and billing changes.
  • Write email copy for engineering audiences, run A/B tests, monitor deliverability, and report each journey's contribution to activation and revenue.
  • Agree pipeline targets with the founders and own the results.
  • Build funnel reporting with the go-to-market engineer so the team can understand conversion performance.
  • Work with Product Marketing and Developer Relations on messaging and participate in the weekly sales pipeline review.
  • Initially run programs hands-on, including writing sequences, building email journeys, and launching campaigns.
  • After programs reliably produce pipeline, build a team, with initial hires likely covering lifecycle, outbound or sales development, and social and content.
Desired Qualifications
  • Run SigNoz social accounts on LinkedIn and X using platform-native formats, and help founders and Developer Relations distribute content to relevant audiences.
  • Run paid experiments through an agency or freelancers, including Google campaigns on brand and competitor terms and LinkedIn and Reddit retargeting; scale campaigns that deliver a return.
  • Background in engineering and ability to understand technical terminology.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
  • Experience running paid campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, or Reddit, directly or through an agency.
  • Experience growing a developer-facing social account.

What believers are saying

  • SigNoz shipped v0.140.0 on September 2, 2026, showing aggressive release velocity.
  • The August 26, 2026 AI Coding Agents plugin widens usage beyond infrastructure engineers.
  • Jira alert channels and full-text log search broaden enterprise workflow fit and stickiness.

What critics are saying

  • CVE-2026-63094, fixed after July 15, 2026, enables SSO token theft and account takeover.
  • CVE-2026-57955 and CVE-2026-57956 exposed SQL injection and cross-tenant alert-rule leakage in June 2026.
  • Grafana, Datadog, and Elastic can replicate features faster, compressing SigNoz's differentiation over time.
