Kunai is partnering with a large-scale banking client to hire Software Engineers to build upon and support business-critical data platforms.This is the ideal role for a backend engineer who has worked in a hybrid data and software engineer role.

*This is a remote position with preference to New York, NY or McLean, VA*

Required Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of Python experience
3+ years ofAWS (Compute, Storage, Database, Serverless, Data Processing)
Experience with real-time streaming and processing ( Spark, PySpark, Kafka)
Familiar with DevOps processing and tools (Jenkins, CICD)

Nice to have:

Programming experience in Golang,
Experience with AWS Glue
Experience working in a hybrid Data and Software engineer role
GraphQL
