Technical Sales Representative - Process Instrumentation
About the job
- At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, applications, or support for industrial/process instrumentation or analytical equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, quality control, or automation.
- Ability to interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and technical specifications, and to conduct plant surveys and gather requirements.
- Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency sufficient for technical conversations.
- Availability for frequent travel and highway driving.
- Manage and develop the assigned client portfolio in the region by serving existing accounts and generating new business opportunities for the process instrumentation product line.
- Prospect and open new clients in industrial sectors, including chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, energy, and oil and gas.
- Conduct technical and commercial visits to assess needs, gather specifications, and propose solutions.
- Provide specialized technical advice on applications, integration, and the benefits of equipment for in-line measurement in tanks and pipes.
- Conduct demonstrations, technical presentations, and performance tests.
- Develop long-term relationships with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and purchasing teams.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and projects.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales targets by product line.
- Update and track opportunities in the customer relationship management system.
- Travel frequently within the Bajío and Northeast regions.
- Residence in Querétaro is preferred.
