- Understand the Linux kernel and its components, including drivers, libraries, and process intercommunication.
- Perform performance troubleshooting using standard operating-system tools and third-party debuggers, including analysis of memory and CPU utilization, input/output components, and peripherals.
- Perform Linux and Solaris packaging, including creation of RPM and Solaris packages.
