- The candidate must be at least 21 years old.
- The candidate must hold or obtain a Dispensary Employee License from the Division of Cannabis Control.
- The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
- The candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must pass Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation background checks.
- The candidate must have basic math, computer, and cash-handling skills.
- The candidate must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- The candidate must have the manual dexterity to operate registers and label products.
- Welcome and assist customers upon arrival.
- Verify customer identification and patient registry status.
- Educate customers on cannabis strains, cannabinoids, and product types.
- Guide customers in selecting appropriate products.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and uphold Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Maintain accurate sales and dispensing records.
- Follow Division of Cannabis Control regulations and Ohio Administrative Code 3796 standards.
- Dispense cannabis using Medical Marijuana Control Program and point-of-sale software.
- Report suspicious activity immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking inventory.
- Perform opening and closing duties and compliance reports.
- Attend training sessions and maintain product knowledge.
- Retail or hospitality experience is preferred.
