About the Job

Requirements

  • Completed secondary education is required.
  • At least six months of experience in retail sales or customer service is required.
  • Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service is required.

  • Knowledge of footwear products, including materials, sizes, and care, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed the team's monthly sales targets.
  • Provide personalized advice on Skechers footwear features, benefits, and uses.
  • Identify each customer's needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Handle sales objections and close transactions effectively.
  • Process cash, credit/debit card, and other authorized payments.
  • Manage exchanges, returns, and warranties according to established policies.
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication with all customers.
  • Receive, verify, and organize new merchandise according to established protocols.
  • Label items, mark prices, and code products according to corporate standards.
  • Keep inventory organized and conduct periodic counts when required.
  • Pack and wrap customer purchases safely and presentably.
  • Implement and maintain the brand's visual presentation standards.
  • Organize products according to planograms and established marketing guidelines.
  • Keep window displays and other displays attractive and orderly.
  • Restock products on shelves and racks promptly.
  • Ensure promotional signage is current and properly placed.
  • Clean and maintain shelves, counters, tables, and floors.
  • Perform store opening and closing routines according to the established checklist.
  • Keep work areas organized and free of obstacles.
  • Report damage or maintenance needs to supervisors.
  • Ensure the store is prepared for the next business day.
  • Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
  • Comply with corporate values and the business code of ethics.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions.
  • Report incidents or irregular situations to the immediate supervisor.

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical studies in sales, marketing, or related areas are desirable.
  • Previous experience in footwear or fashion retail is desirable.
