- A minimum of 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting is required.
- A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing is required.
- Board certification via the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based on the clinic location is required.
- An active Drug Enforcement Administration registration in the state where prescribing occurs is required.
- Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Demonstrated experience using electronic health record systems to manage patient data, document clinical information, and access patient histories is required.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations, plus the ability to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues, is required.
- Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
- Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
- Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders.
- Participate in community outreach and education.
- Work one day per week in the office.
- Participate in the Spravato Program.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus but are not required.
- Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable.

By contracting with major insurers and adopting a hybrid direct-to-consumer model, Headlight aims to expand access to affordable mental health care while growing its network and technology platform.
