About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of technical program management experience supporting growth, performance marketing, marketing technology, or data teams.
  • Hands-on experience with a customer data platform, including connecting it to multiple ad platforms, mapping and filtering events, and syncing audiences with consent rules applied.
  • Experience with a mobile measurement partner and knowledge of attribution concepts including click IDs, App Tracking Transparency, SKAdNetwork, view-through versus click-through attribution, and platform-reported versus first-party conversions; experience debugging discrepancies and working directly with the vendor.
  • Experience testing and performing quality assurance with engineers on tracking or integration launches, including test plans, staging checks, debug tools, test devices, and regression checks after software development kit or release changes.
  • Ability to write SQL and query data independently.
  • Experience running programs across engineering, design, data, and marketing, with clear specifications, status updates, and written records of decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize, work with ambiguity, and work asynchronously on a remote-first team.
Responsibilities
  • Own the growth roadmap by turning requests from marketing, paid media, and product into scoped tickets with owners and dates; maintain the roadmap, runbooks, and data-flow documentation; and automate repetitive tasks using scripts or artificial intelligence tools.
  • Lead testing and quality assurance with marketing technology and growth engineers by writing test plans, checking changes in staging and on test devices before release, and confirming results after launch.
  • Manage customer data platform destinations, audience synchronization, reverse extract-transform-load processes, and server-side events for paid media; monitor dropped events, low match rates, and schema drift; and write or adjust simple scripts when configuration alone is insufficient.
  • Manage relationships with mobile measurement partners, debug attribution issues, maintain software development kit and ad-network integrations, and handle support escalations, renewals, and roadmap requests.
  • Maintain consistent tracking specifications across the app, website, customer data platform, and web analytics, and investigate discrepancies between data sources.
  • Manage software development kit upgrades, attribution migrations, and new-vendor onboarding from evaluation through cutover, including rollback plans.
  • Support paid and acquisition work across search, social, app-install networks, app-store search ads, and affiliates, including click-ID plumbing, exclusion lists, and test setup.
  • Engage Privacy and Legal early so consent, data-sharing limits, and data-subject requests are incorporated into launch plans.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience at a consumer fintech company or another regulated company.
  • Experience with reverse extract-transform-load into paid media, including conversion APIs, offline conversions, audience uploads, and maintaining match rates, deduplication, delays, and dropped events.
  • Ability to read and write simple scripts in JavaScript or Liquid, such as transforming an event payload or building a template.
  • Experience with a cloud data warehouse.
  • Working understanding of marketing privacy rules, including consent, the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and limits on sharing customer data with ad platforms; ability to recognize when to consult Legal.

About the company

OnePay runs a consumer finance app for people in the United States, bringing everyday money management and longer-term investing into one account experience. Its products span checking, savings, personal loans, retirement accounts and cryptocurrency, with banking services supplied by partner banks rather than OnePay itself. Customers manage their accounts through the app, while employers and payroll platforms connect financial tools to the systems their workers already use. The business charges fees on cryptocurrency trades and selected cash-advance services, while stock purchases and sales carry no OnePay commission. Its banking business was founded in 2019 and is based in New York.

What believers are saying

  • US staff gain location flexibility: OnePay advertises remote-first work anywhere domestically and a monthly home-office stipend.
  • Investing reinforces banking adoption: OnePay Invest requires a OnePay deposit account as its sole funding source.
  • Retail distribution is already built: OnePay Wallet works at more than 4,500 Walmart locations and online.

What critics are saying

  • Expect urgency beyond standard hours: OnePay explicitly says its workplace is not a traditional nine-to-five.
  • Investment operations depend on another firm: DriveWealth handles OnePay Invest clearing and custody.
  • Headline rewards have limits: OnePay category cash back pays 3% on only $150 in monthly spending.

What makes OnePay unique

  • Wallet reaches beyond OnePay cards: shoppers link outside cards and scan QR codes at Walmart.
  • Payroll access bypasses banking signup: OnePay @Work gives earned wage access without requiring a OnePay deposit account.
  • Credit reporting follows debit-like spending: Builder Card locks purchase funds from checking and automatically pays monthly balances.

Is Auto Sales The Next Amazon-Walmart Contest?

It seems as if consumers can buy just about anything from Amazon. Now, you can add cars to that list. Can Amazon Autos become a go-to destination for car buyers, providing Amazon with a competitive edge in an area where Walmart has yet to establish a strong presence?. While Walmart does sell and even buy cars through its Carsaver partnership, the company still relies on third parties to handle the bulk of the transaction process. This leaves an opportunity for Amazon to take a more direct approach, leveraging its vast ecosystem and tech-driven conveniences to elevate the car-buying experience
