Requirements

At least 5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician or technician in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of power distribution, alternating-current and direct-current motors, motor control, and motor drives.
Experience with programmable logic controllers, drives, and human-machine-interface software.
Skill in troubleshooting, problem solving, and installing electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead lockout procedures and ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment problems and repair and maintain electrical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, project work, and installation of new electrical equipment.
Assist mechanics and operators with daily maintenance work.

Desired Qualifications

Good working knowledge and understanding of Siemens programmable logic controllers, drives, human-machine-interface software, low- and medium-voltage equipment, alternating-current motors, and alternating-current drives.
Formal electrical training.

Overview

Responsible for electrical maintenance in various areas of the mill and ancillary equipment working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift.

Responsibilities

Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely.

Qualifications

Experience with PLC’s, drives and HMI software
Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and installation of electrical equipment

Preferred

Good working knowledge and understanding of Siemens PLC’s, drives, HMI software, low and medium voltage equipment, AC motors and AC drives
Formal electrical training
