Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Five years of relevant logistics experience consistent with a Logistics Analyst III role are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work in data-driven reporting environments are required.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain access to and use authorized Army automation systems as required by the mission.
  • The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must successfully complete LOG 0140 Packaging of Hazardous Material certification, provide proof of completion, and recertify as required.
  • The candidate must meet contract security and installation access requirements, including a Tier 3 investigation with Secret eligibility, and complete required Government training, including Cyber Awareness, HIPAA/Privacy, and Anti-Terrorism and Operations Security training as applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Transportation Coordinator supporting Force Integration Division medical equipping missions worldwide, including transportation concepts, policies, and plans.
  • Use authorized Army automation systems and Department of Defense shipping and receiving documentation to support asset visibility.
  • Monitor and track transportation and receipt of medical equipment sets and Goods Issued Equipment, and produce a daily Transportation Report.
  • Provide transportation guidance to Regional Managers and Direct Reporting Units in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Assist with developing transportation policies, support technical decisions, and review procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve transportation conflicts and discrepancies, and validate shipments including placard markings.
  • Support the planning and execution of Second Destination Transportation and complete required daily reporting.
  • Analyze trends such as delays, frustrated cargo, and lost items, and complete transportation discrepancy reporting.
