CLEVR appoints Harold Masselink for Benelux and AI strategy.

CLEVR appoints Harold Masselink for Benelux and AI strategy. Software and consultancy company CLEVR has appointed Harold Masselink (photo) as managing director for Benelux. The appointment takes effect on 1 November 2026. Within the entire CLEVR group, Masselink will additionally be responsible for the further development of solutions around Agentic AI and the Siemens Intelligence Center X (ICX). Masselink is moving from IT service provider CAPE, where he served as CEO. Before that, he held the positions of COO and CTO at BrixCRM. With his experience in software development - ranging from low-code to high-code - and organizational development, he will also join CLEVR's management team on 1 November. Bringing together AI, low-code and industrial processes. In his new role, Masselink will focus on integrating AI into existing business processes. Within the IT sector, the focus around artificial intelligence is shifting increasingly from supporting applications to so-called 'Agentic AI', in which AI agents can independently perform tasks within business processes based on customer-specific data and governance. The Siemens Intelligence Center X (ICX) plays a central role for CLEVR in this. This platform brings together industrial AI, low-code development (including Mendix) and the digital thread. For CLEVR, the use of ICX means a link between its two existing business areas: digital manufacturing (PLM and smart factory) and enterprise low-code. European rollout. As group lead for Agentic AI and ICX, Masselink will work closely with CLEVR's regional teams in the Benelux, the Nordics and the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) to implement the technology at European customers. Tim Claes, CEO of CLEVR, explains the appointment: "Harold has extensive experience in agentic development in the Netherlands. From the first conversation, it was clear that he shares our vision: bring business and IT together and build on that with Agentic AI. We want to truly embed AI structurally in our customers' operational business processes, organization-wide and across multiple systems." Masselink also emphasizes the need to connect AI directly with daily operations: "AI is moving from hype to real impact. The organizations that win are the organizations that connect AI with their business processes. CLEVR has expertise in Mendix, Siemens and the processes of manufacturing companies. I look forward to supporting our customers in this transition together with the teams in the Benelux, the Nordics and DACH."
