Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data centers and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including building management systems, cooling infrastructure, critical plumbing, electrical power monitoring systems, electrical distribution, uninterruptible power supply systems, and support utilities.
  • Experience in mission-critical or large-scale commercial projects is required.
  • A background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, controls, operations, or mechanical field services is required.
  • Experience with construction and commissioning software such as ACC, Procore, or CxAlloy is required.
  • The ability to travel 100% is required.
  • The ability to work between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed, is required.
  • The ability to adhere strictly to Occupational Safety and Health Administration and site-specific safety standards is required.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with all mechanical quality assurance and quality control activities across data center construction projects.
  • Oversee quality control processes for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including CRAH and CRAC units; chilled water systems; cooling towers; pumps and piping systems; mechanical plant infrastructure; and fire, life, and safety systems.
  • Create daily and weekly quality assurance and quality control reports supporting client turnover and acceptance.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that installations align with drawings, specifications, and mission-critical tolerances.
  • Use construction and commissioning software such as ACC, Procore, and CxAlloy.
  • Review shop drawings and mechanical submittals for conformance.
  • Participate in project meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between trade partners, the mechanical manager, and the commissioning project manager to support coordination, quality compliance, and successful delivery across all phases of the data center build.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and refuse unsafe work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
