Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience selling used commercial vehicles
  • Commercial Driver License (class B) or ability to acquire within 6 months
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug test and background/MVR check
  • Multi-lingual applicants encouraged
Responsibilities
  • Selling new and used heavy duty trucks in a dedicated territory
  • Assisting customers in selecting/ordering trucks and components
  • Understanding and complying with regulations affecting the sale of heavy-duty vehicles
  • Finding new prospects by making calls to individuals and businesses
  • Providing follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers
  • Delivering new trucks and explaining warranty and service policies
  • Studying truck and equipment specifications to improve product knowledge
  • Appraising used trucks when necessary
  • Reading and interpreting documents and writing reports
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Completing other duties as assigned
