About the job

Requirements
  • Have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering with hands-on experience building or securing production systems at scale.
  • Be fluent in cloud security fundamentals, including identity and access management, networking, key management services, secrets, and isolation, across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Have designed and implemented secure systems end-to-end rather than only reviewing them after implementation.
  • Have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container security, and Linux systems.
  • Think in terms of threat models, trust boundaries, and failure modes and translate them into concrete controls.
  • Have experience with authentication and authorization systems, secrets management, and cryptography basics.
  • Be a hands-on builder who writes code, ships infrastructure, and partners directly with infrastructure and platform engineers.
  • Thrive in ambiguous, high-agency environments and take ownership of the infrastructure security function as it grows.
Responsibilities
  • Build the security foundations of the AI platform, including identity, isolation, secrets management, and access control across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  • Harden infrastructure end-to-end, from cloud networking and service meshes to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and the data and model pipelines powering the AI capabilities.
  • Implement Zero Trust principles and machine identity across workloads, including short-lived credentials, least-privilege access, and encrypted service communication.
  • Protect customer data and agent workloads by designing secure execution environments and data access pathways for code and actions taken by agents.
  • Build security guardrails directly into infrastructure and deployment workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
  • Own threat modeling across infrastructure layers by identifying and remediating risks before they become incidents.
  • Own security for forward-deployed infrastructure by designing and hardening bespoke virtual private clouds and customer-environment deployments.
  • Partner with platform, infrastructure, product, and machine learning teams to ship code and infrastructure together with secure-by-default systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with machine learning systems or multi-tenant platform isolation.
  • Familiarity with service mesh and zero-trust architectures.
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar language for automation and tooling.
