Requirements
  • Registration with the New Brunswick Association of Nurses.
  • At least one year of nursing experience.
  • A valid Immediate Resuscitation Care (SIR) certificate.
  • Certification for delegated medical acts and advanced nursing competencies specific to the operating room, or the ability to obtain it within the established timeline.
  • Ability to reach the hospital within 20 minutes using personal transportation when called back.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work.
  • A satisfactory prior work record for performance and attendance.
  • Adherence to professional ethics, the Vitalité Health Network management philosophy, and organizational values.
  • Compliance with the Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning, organizing, delivering, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with the Vitalité Health Network's philosophy, objectives, and policies.
  • Determine and address the individual needs of patients undergoing surgery and their families during the preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative periods.
