About the job
- High school graduation or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of prior apartment maintenance experience is required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a team-oriented attitude.
- Perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance to preserve buildings, equipment, and the property site at peak operating condition and appearance.
- Assist with maintaining the community and completing make-ready apartments, exterior maintenance, and common-area upkeep.
- Perform painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, drywall repairs, and vinyl and ceramic tile replacement.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds.
- Replace exterior light bulbs; maintain and repair grounds equipment; and install and remove external signage and decorations.
- Maintain grounds, pools and hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities so they remain clean, operational, and safe for residents.
- Bilingual ability is preferred.
- HVAC, pool, and electrical certifications are preferred but not required.
